from your questions it really seems like your a little outside the loop. I'm glad you didnt buy my kit because It def wasnt the right choice for you. I seriously think you should of went with a DBB 50 trim.

Well i just built my motor and head and put a br 35r on. Im still in the break in miles but in 5th it like to surge but thats if you are trying to hold it about 85 or 90, and also the HKS Racing suction intake that i had on my stock turbo went from dead even with the turbo inlet to 4in on the filter side, and the 35r has a 4in inlet, so unless they make 2 different HKS intakes you are going to have to get a reducer coupling from 4in to 2 1/4 if that what the stock turbo inlet is, so if im right, i would just get a nother intake, hope i helped.

AMS, Buschur, Shearer turbo kits. You can't go wrong when you by from reputable shops that stand behind their work and also have the cars on the track to prove it.

Good luck

I think Dave has done some very conclusive testing on his GT35R kit. Not only has it ran 9.97 at over 140 mph in a street trim car. But if I remember correctly, I seen him make on the upperside of 500whp with a real conservative tune with his 35r kit.

It really depends on how much power you are looking to make. There has been quite a few that have made 500-550+whp on stock internals w/ supporting mods.

I think if its within budget I would absolutely build the engine to support whatever the 35R has to offer. But also keep in mind. Whats most important about keeping these engines together falls mostly on who is tuning the car. If you have a inexperienced tuner. You would be considered lucky if your car drove off the dyno under its own power.

Properly tuned. The Evo engines will support 500whp for a long time.

Full-race makes incredible products and is generally regarded as having the best flowing manifold in the biz. However, their kit requires a good amount of work/fabbing to make it fit correctly, it definitely isn't a bolt on considering the few reviews I have seen about it on here. As for HPF, while they don't have a huge reputation with evo's, they have a STELLAR one with supras and big hp supras at that. I know if they can get great reviews from guys who have thrown all kinds of $$$ at their supras, their stuff has to be top notch. I wouldn't even bat an eye if I were to order an HPF kit.

i dont think so~ piston is the weakest point.

and think about this. you know why our evo tapers down on the boost as u go higher rpm???
