hey guys i searched all over the thread but couldnt find anything relationg to my question,im lookin for a tbe,BUTi was da most out of gains and not that loud,people from virginia know wut im talkin bout,thanks.

 

You can't get the most gains without it being loud to some point. How loud is too loud? The stock exhaust is 92db which is pretty damn close to most states that have the 95db limit.

 

well,on my eclipse gs i have a apexin1 catback and ive gotten 2 tickets on that.....is the tbe for da evo IX MR louder than that?

 

is the tbe for THE IX MR louder? depends, did you have a full catless tbe? you can get tbe with baffles after the cat that quite them down (hks hi-power)

The Fujitsubo exhaust for the Evo has a FAT resonator in the IP. Everyone says it's very very quiet. Get a downpipe and high flow cat to reap the benefits but be prepared for additional noise. Don't be surprised with an increase of 10+ db with a TBE exhaust.

 

Injen full 3in TBE on my car is very quiet untill your ont it. Cruising on the highway its only a tad louder than stock. Im not sure they makr it for the IX though
