Twin scroll GT3076 Vs. GT35. 93octane

Both runs were on 93 octane only, stock motors, on the same dyno at the same shop just several moths apart. GT3076 @ 23psi and GT35 spiking 23psi falling to 22psi. While the GT35 does make 20 more whp than the GT3076, notice it doesn't pass the smaller turbo in power until 6.8k. I know that a GT35 will make 520+ on this type of dyno on race gas, but I'm posting this for any of you guys who may be on the fence turbo size-wise and who will rarely have race gas in the tank or don't plan on using methanol. In the 4.4k-5.0k range there is a solid 140whp/160lbft advantage to the smaller GT3076.
This is just for comparison, and before I get flamed because someone else GT35 spools up better, I understand this is not an apples to apples comparison because this is 2 different cars, with slightly different set ups on the dyno at different times of the year.

Still on a stock eng i would take the 3076 because of the wider powerband. Hell I did take the 3076. but i did just buy a 35r for when i do the buschur 2.3 this winter.

Nice comparison. I bet you are happy you went with 3076 after seeing that.. Big turbos aren't all that. lag is NOT overrated.

Wow! So I guess my 373 on the stock motor and 3076 is pretty good on a DD dyno.

GT35 car has a stock engine with a MPFab turbo kit, Niesei intercooler, 280HKS cams, adjustable cams gears(don't remember the settings), 850cc/min injectors, Xede/flash, 255 pump, full 3" exhaust, no cat.
The major differences between the 2 cars are turbos, Twin scroll vs. 4 into 1 manifold, HKS vs. Comp 280's, Exede/Flash vs. ECUFlash, stock cams gears vs. adjustable (setting??).

i know i have a leaky head gasket and i'm getting some power robbed. This winter I'm gonna be putting in a whole new stroker shortblock/stage 3 head(maybe cosworth?) and a shep tranny. I'll be hoping to come out with numbers closer to yours on the DD. Thanks for the good info.

Nice comparison...I'm in the market for a new setup and something such as this helps out a lot.
