These are the turbos that come with the ATP kit. People always said they were crap, but there have been some very positive results lately. The won't match the AMS kit, but don't appear to be a bad choice for the money.

Try searching ATP. I know SmokinJoe has his results posted with the 30R and there was another guy recently with the 3071.

First of all my friend get ready to get flamed big time... You have asked something you should not have and you will soon see some members jumping into this thread who are particularly fond of giving their comments about this turbo even though they are not using it...

On the other hand I am using the ATP GT3071R 0.63 AR turbo kit... My experience has been gr8... I think its the best bang for the buck... But my car is at the tuners today as I did not have bigger injectors and an engine management system which is going in today.... I have been running 18 psi since i installed the kit around 2 weeks back and let me tell u its amazing spools at around 3000 rpms and full boost at 3900 rpms in 4th gear which is not bad and lots of top end at this psi.

I will endorse the kit fully today.. I hope i do get the power gains that I am expecting.. Am thinking of running 23-25 psi on the kit on 97 octane if possible...

Will let you know the results...

Its a nice kit for the price...Whats so bad about it...It uses the same BB turbo as any other turbo kit...They only things diff. are the supporting mods! Buy an aftermarket exhaust mani and you should be good or get the buschur kit for around the same price as that...maybe a tiny bit more!

Ok here it goes. I got the Power Fc and 780 cc injectors installed and had the car tuned. We turned the boost up to 1.7 bars and its amazing. We do not have a Dyno here but I am using a SBC I-color boost controller which has a built in dyno(I dunno how accurate it is) but it says I hit 367 hp to the wheels at around 6600 rpms. But the car feels amazing. Boost comes up really quick and hits hard...

I have the Following Mods on the car

ATP GT3071 .63 A/R
DC Sports Manifold
Walbro
780cc injectors
Apex-i Power Fc
Greddy Evo-2 Exhuast
HKS Twin Plate clutch and flywheel
Blitz Dual SBC I-Color Boost controller

I think Cams will help too. But for now its just amazing....

thats not very good.....unless its a super mustang dyno equivelant. my car has equal power to ur kit...spending less than 1k on parts..

i highly doubt the dyno is right....cause people are usually in the low to mid 400's with a 30 series...

for 2k ya cant go wrong...
