Question HKS DL2 Dyno Gains?

I'm seeing more and more of these ignition amps being utilized by evos at all mod levels --- my question is: when does this mod become absolutely necessary, and at what point in the mod path will you see gains?

Let's hear it!

dont think u will see any gains on it, i m running the HKS DLI II too, its just to prevent high rpm ignition break up at 450+whp range. I do feel smoother pull all the way to redline with it.

I would say you should have it for running higher boost on larger BB turbos, a lot of people get this mod when they really dont need it. Im still without one but plan on getting one soon or COP.

So does this even benefit more lightly modded evos?

It's really not meant to add power. It's meant to make a stronger and clean spark. You should use it if ur going to be pushing a lot of boost with the use of methanol or race gas. It also helps gas milage Well for me it did.

Sounds like a "Big Turbo" mod, to me. At least that's where it seems the "measurable" results would exist.

Anyone put a dyno sheet to the DL2?
