Clutch problems?!?

Went out tonight to do some fun runs. First 2 runs the car wouldn't go in 2nd gear at all. (at the time i blamed myself for not being able to drive). 3rd run I shift kind of slow and everythings fine. 4th I get the 1-2 shift perfect, same with 2-3, but I get completely locked out of 4th! As I give up and slow down I Realize the clutch pedal now feels mushy and won't go in ANY gear and is stuck in neutral.

I get out of the car upset thinking i broke something expensive. My buddy jumped in the car pumped the clutch and slammed into 1st gear. Now the car runs perfect....

Any ideas on what went wrong and how to prevent it from happening again??

Also car is a 06 Evo GSR has a exedy stage 2 clutch with about 8K on it and maybe not so hard 10 launches.

just rebleed the brakes again & check before u start spending cash on parts u might not need. if u run a Tilton clutch, the slave cylinder is eliminated because of the hydraulic bearing...
