clutch install question

My friend and I are replacing the clutch in his car this weekend and I had a question. When we get the assembly out should we use some type of degreaser, carb, or brake cleaner to clean it before we install the new clutch? Does it matter wheather or not its cleaned? Also is there any where that you wouldnt want to mess with, for example the flywheel?
thanks for all your help... and for reference its a 04 evo 8 and he's just replacing the disk.

If your reusing the stock flywheel you should have it resurfaced. And if you talking about cleaning the pressure plate...don't think theres a point to that. And I think it would be a good idea to change the throw out bearing too(if you haven't thought about that already).
