So can anybody relate their experience of blowing up their T Case. I am looking to get an idea of what will have to be replaced.

Call ShepTrans, they sell upgraded transfer cases that will hold up to not knowing how to drive and dumping the clutch at 6000rpm on a twin plate.

The best deal on a new one is the Stage 2 - $2,750 shipped with the cryo treatment.
If you're a baller, Stage 3 is practically bulletproof - $3,900 shipped with cryo.

Still have not had a chance to get the car looked at(need money). If I did in fact break the transfer case would that mean that the car would not move at all. How can I tell if it is the trans. case or the tranny, or rear diff?TIA

I have heard about the wheel hop issues, but I really never experienced them. Any 05's who have broke their t case want to chime in?

No doubt the TC. Fairly simple remove and replace, but its not gonna be cheap. Sheppard is gonna be your best bet.

I broke my transfer case and the car still drove, but had serious problems turning. There are different things that break inside, and different problems when they break.

the lights should only be on if the problem you're encountering is related to the clutch pack, pumps, or hydraulics in the center dif system.

Isn't it possible that he just shatter some of the teeth on the clutch plate?
