Thanks for the clarification, I guess you were in the crossfire. Mostlikely the person that told you or the person that you heard making the comments doesn't know much about the 02 housings.

We bring you to this forum the hardcore facts, I personally take pics of my car parts, installs, dyno numbers and off course I always give feedback regardless of the vendor.

You are OK with me, we are cool

SOON2BEVO,

You wrote me this:

"Did they make you send back your old one BEFORE they sent you a new one? I was hoping theyd just send me a new one because I do have the older one."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Actually and despite the issue I had with the header the issue was solved like this:

1) I called the vendor and made the claim and he informed me that I must call the manufacturer over the phone
2) I made contact with AEM-DCSports claims department and I contacted a service representative. He explained me that I must provide a bill of sale which I did
3) 2 or 3 days later I received a call from the service representative and he arranged a Fed-EX/UPS/DHL type of courier to pick up my old part from my house at my own convinience, at the mean time they will issue me another one
4) New header arrives before the pick up of the old one
5) I took a few pictures of both headers(old and new one); the new header not only was new but also is was he newest redesigned version (V2 series)
6) Shortly after I received the new one the courier picked up the old one but did not make me sign any papers at all. Driver did not even know what item he was picking up.
7) A few weeks pass and I received a call from the AEM/DCsport service representative asking me if I ever shipped him the old header. I responded him that yes indeed I sent the older header but the driver of the UPS/DHL/FED-ex did not make me sign any papers despite I insisted.

Summary, service was good and they honored the warranty. They also took the risk sending me a brand new unit before they collected the old one. Fortunately, I am a very honest and straight serious guy that wouldn't never take advantage of such situation.

I must say that AEM/DCsport stood up to their word

Carlos

I don't think they will replace your until it cracks. You may want to find out before you rip it off.

Scroll down to see it.

Dimensions in the table:

"Main": 60mm (2.36")
"By-pass": 58mm (2.28")
"Front": 70mm (2.76")

I think 'front' is actually the exit diameter of the O2 housing - as in front pipe diameter.
those are very good dimensions.
