3.5" inch O2 Housing?

I have a few questions about the o2 housings. Can there be a 3.5" O2 housing made? Will it fit the stock turbo? and are there any advantages or disadvantages for ahving a 3.5" o2 housing? I want to do a complete turboback 3.5" exhaust soon, so I would want to make a 3.5" o2 housing as well to go with my exhaust (if possible).

thanks

Asking that question on here is like lobbing a lit match into powder keg...

thats nice, because i searched "3.5 housing" and didnt come up with much information. i have checked around on sites and found that no one really carries a 3.5" o2 housing. the largest i have seen is 3 inches.

its been shown that even 3" 02 housing is not benficial on a stock turbo. The ebay 02 housing seems to be getting the best bang for the buck.

ok, thanks.

the only reason i wanted to put a 3.5" now is that i wanted to keep it a full 3.5". Sooner or later i will be going to upgrade the turbo and make som more power, but im just saving up for that now.

if you go with qa larger turbo then you will have a new 02 housing any way and anything on a t3 flange is only going to have 2.5" discharge any ways.

Get a 3" TB and save yourself $500, no need for a 3.5" unless you have a 40/42r or larger.

Use a 3 inch, you will make more power with the pressure differential going from 3 inch to 3.5inch. One reason why I use a DP that tapers down to 2.75, it made more power then a full 3 inch TBE. Using a 3.5 inch exhaust might help once you get a big turbo, but the o2 housing wont help it, your better off sticking with a 3.

I personaly run a stock turbo and had a dela on the HPF 3.5 TBE and didnt pass it up. Regardless of what everyone says that it's too big and etc etc I think it'll make great power and soon numbers will tell. Plus it's good to grow some ***** at times and experiment, it just might be worth it.
