Arrow Gauge pod for the "A" pillar...

I have looked everywhere but I cannot find one. Does anybody know where to purchase a gauge pod for the "A" pillar? I would prefere a single but a double or triple would be OK too. Any help would be appreciated!

I haven't seen anything yet.. In theory this shouldn't be a difficult piece to manufacture.. I think its just manufacturing time at this point.. Try looking for one for a regular lancer.. It will fit, if your lucky the pillar grille (for the 6 speaker stereo) will already be in it...

Another thought is to use gauge cups on the pillar, or make your own and cast it from Plastic Resin, color matching and texture would be difficult though..

2g Eclipse should fit fine. Full pillar pods probably will not, but the sectional ones will (at worst) require a couple rivets or a heatgun to fit it snugly.

Can somebody verify if the 2000 Eclipse single gauge pod will fit the new EVO? I want to mount my boost gauge there. I see they are only like $25...

2G Eclipse a pillar won't fit because of the speaker in the pillar. We are working on one though. We got our Project EVO from MMNA Friday. Very cool car by the way. Having a lot of fun with it. Soon we will chop it up gut it, 450 h.p. and roll cage etc. Keep you posted on that.

Got an ETA on the "A" pillar gauge pod? I sure do want one! Will you offer it in single, double, triple? Thanks!

It's not even close. I've tried those and the A-Pillar on those is way too narrow.

I'm trying to modify some right now to get them to fit properly. If I get them working, I'll let you know.

I just spoke with AutoMeter and they said the gauge pod should be available in about a month and a half. He didn't say if they would be single, double, or triple. He also didn't say what color they would be but I assume they will try and match our interior color...

That's very odd, Fireball. Don't we have the same A Pillar? Mine fit no problem...coulda been a bit more snug, but that's all. (Autometer, plain black plastic for reference.)

Where's this speaker in the A-pillar? I haven't gotten a chance to really examine the interior of the Evo (which is funny cuz I've had time to look at em). Anywho, I suppose that means I sit corrected.

EDIT: If anyone could post me a pic or help me find one I'd appreciate it. I'm a go check mitsucars.com right now. Ok, I looked at the 360 interior view and I'm still not seein' it. I'm not talkin' full pillar pods here, I'm talking sectional pods just to clarify. I thought I said that in my original post.

I know on the EVO there is a tweeter in the "A" pillar but it is down low would not interfere with a single gauge pod at all. A double or a triple might have issues though...

Even the section pods, Hobie, don't fit. The width of the Lancer A-Pillar is much more wide than that of an Eclipse.

Hey Rock, good news on the evo project.

How about a set of carbon fiber a + b pillars. You know people will buy them!

It doesn't even look raised in that pic. I could see it interfering with a full pillar, but not a 1 or 2 pod. The only thing I could see being an issue there is the size of the pillar itself...which I was fairly certain was identical in width and depth to that of the ES/LS/OZ.
