JUN 272's, 2.3, GT35R. Goal is to take advantage of the stroker's torque and quick spool to the max extent possible on the street. (even at the expense of a little peak.) Anybody tried retarding with a similar build? I'll probably leave at 0/0 for now, but wanted to generate a little discussion. Cam gear settings seemed to be the rage here last year but the buzz has died. 35Rs are a dime a dozen now. Have we learned anything new? Thanks.

8Kish. We're both running Brian Crower Pro kits that could probably take a little more abuse but I'll be happy at 8K. I plan to boost the living snot out of it one day, but revving to the moon isn't my strategy.
Most stroker guys around here seem to go 8.5 with the banzai guys going to 9.

I'll hopefully get to play with Paul's cam gears when we get it on the dyno.
I know we'll have lots of time to work on Tom's car on the dyno, but Tom is still 2.0L while Paul has the 2.4L already.
Post the specs on the cams so we can get a better idea of what we're working with :-D
