Is there any intake does not require a tune?
If you want something loud enough to require hearing protection try this:
1) Remove airbox but keep MAF attached with a ziptie or 2
2) Remove OEM diverter valve and reinstall backwards
This may drastically shorten life of turbo or MAF screen but boost will hold and noise will be loud

Listen, the HP record for the stock intake/airbox is 582whp. Why don't you start worrying about intakes when you're actually making some power. The intake should be the least of your worries right now. There are so many mods out there that make your car faster while running well, so why are you so stuck on getting an intake?
i got a forge diverter valve for cheap, they were on sale, so i took advantage of that.
i do not plan on heavily modding this car, i already have one of those.
all i want, is a nice exhaust system, and to be able to hear the turbo and blow off.
may be ricey to some, but, i wanted a turbo car, and i couldnt finish the turbo project on my mustang so i had to go back to supercharged ... so yeah... it makes me happy, and it really isnt that ricey
theres no apc wing or 22" chrome rimzzzz

warratalon, the guy who hates me

im not so stuck on intakes. i kind of like what 'Slow' did with his intake, cut a hole in it, which is like the blitz filter holder design, and saves $150 + cost of the filter.
but at the same time, i have the hks rs intake already,a nd if i can get the tune for a decent price, why not just keep it?
Because you can sell it and get parts that actually help the car. If all you car about is hearing the turbo suck air in and the BOV blow off, then your Evo is wasted. If your BOV is not the Forge RS, then you have the wrong one (noticing a theme here). The direct replacement one is not good for the Evo, sorry. Hopefully, you have the shiny Forge RS with the adjustment knob on top.

buschur racings intake doesnt require a tune, and u will see a gain..
or u could just spend 80 bucks and get buschurs cone filter which is 4hp/7tq gain.. which is nice for a basic filter w/o flash
