Because you can sell it and get parts that actually help the car. If all you car about is hearing the turbo suck air in and the BOV blow off, then your Evo is wasted. If your BOV is not the Forge RS, then you have the wrong one (noticing a theme here). The direct replacement one is not good for the Evo, sorry. Hopefully, you have the shiny Forge RS with the adjustment knob on top.

hks -> stock box with big hole on top lid - > stock box w/ no hole (loud to soft)

its free, you already got it. just have to spend 30mins to cut the hole out or put it on a mill like what i did

Apex-I isn't causing any problems for members that have it as well.
Would I purchase an intake with no tune? Kinda defeats the purpose except you get sound. The only reason I purchased the Apex-I intake is being it's zero maintenance. I like to get lazy when possible.
