Those with Invidia O2 housing...questions

I have a Buschur DP that I have been contemplating how to make fit. Rather than do this I am interested in knowing what DP you have with your Invidia O2 housing. Basicly if I can get away with getting another DP so I don't have to modify this one it would be much preferred.

Also what did you do to make the O2 sensor wires longer? Good to know!

I have the Invidia housing and Buschur DP. Chopped stock flange off stock DP and had it welded to the Buschur DP. Didn't lenghten the O2 sensor, it's stretched but no problems yet.

On my personal car I am using the TurboXS downpipe(different sized donut) I was able to easily modify my donut to accept the Invidia Housing. I have not done a install on a flat flanged DP system yet.

O2 sensor wire stretched and heat shielded here.

That is a solution of sorts. A little more than I wanted to do to the Buschur DP. I was hoping just to port out the opening on the flange to make it a full 3", do you think this would work?

You could try porting it and if that doesn't work just chop and weld.

I was curious if the Invidia DP was any good. Do you have the Invidia O2 housing and the Invidia DP?

I can't be sure that I would be able to mix the Buschur system I have with the Invidia DP/testpipe. Hard to say.

I think I might have a spare EVO stock DP so I can use that if I want to cut and modify to put on the Buschur unit.

I've got the Invidia on my 05 -- clears everything very well, I did have to space the bars, but only w/ 1 or 2 washers. Fitment is very good around the TC.

Here's a solution to your second concern regarding the O2 sensor. This is what I did on my car.

The O2 sensor is on the other side of the engine and so is the wiring!

The O2 sensor wiring and harness are between the valve cover and the upper intercooler pipe.

It took about 30 minutes, but its well worth it.

So is the wire that looks like it is hanging off from your manifold for EGT?

So did you extend the wiring or did you pull it out from the loom and reroute it?

I had the same exact setup you have. I bought an invidia o2 and a buschur dp only to find out that they would not match. So, the best fix was to buy an invidia 3" dp.
