last time i checked royal purple is cheaper than mobile1 by like a dollar. lol

 

I had mines changed at the dealership today. Wow, what a difference. Does anyone else feel like they had some extra hp, when they get a new oil change with mobile 1.

 

what oil were you using before?

realistically, engine oil will not add HP. but, if it somehow does, then it isnt protecting your engine somewhere else

 

Amsoil 0W-30 2000 series motor oil for me. I keep telling myself I'm going to try out the Royal Purple line but I keep getting the Amsoil. I've used it for a few years on various cars and I've enjoyed it so much it's like second nature to pick up my phone and call my local Amsoil guy. Roughly 6.50 a quart so it's not that bad for full synthetic imo.

 

Not in this country and if it is not at any parts store I have ever been too

And people the Mobil 1 10w-30 is full synthetic. The extended life is not

 

I was using mobile 1 but it was dirty. I dont think it added hp it just woke up the car with new oil.

 

Mobil one breaks down very quickly in my car. I had to add about 1/4 of a quart of oil in between 3500 mile intervals with M1 10w-30. With the GC I don't have to add one drop. Doesn't burn off at all unlike the M1 in my 86k mile motor
