Evolution Mass Air Pipe Upgrade...

Besides Buschur who makes the upgrade pipe for $200 LINK

Is there any other company that makes something similar for maybe a little less? I'm looking at getting this to upgrade to the Apexi filter with an upgraded mass airpipe. I know intakes aren't really needed but I'm going to be getting tuned in around a week or so and want to knock it out now.

Thanks.

I have an OBX silicone intake hose that I got on ebay for $90 shipped.

It works perfectly with the stock air box and I see no reason to switch to a conical unless you are at 400whp or you like RICE.

I dont think my wanting to change to a conical filter has anything to do with rice, i just want to push out a couple more ponies while im getting dyno tuned as aposed to adding it later.

Im not asking for entire intake setups, rather just the pipe that connects to the filter. I'll look into the OBX silicone hose...thanks though

I had the Dejon...it had fitment issues. I like the Samco. It is smoother than the stocker, and the rubber will insulate incoming air from engine bay heat.

So the 3" intake pipe for aftermarket air filters and stock MAS...the $95 one is with no tubes, as aposed to a BOV tube and what not, the $95 one is the one I want right? Will it work with the stock BOV and where it is at now?

Thanks for the suggestion, Im def going this route -- especially considering the price.

I'm a Vishnu guy which means I use the stock airbox, which I think is superior to a cone filter. MAF pipe from stock airbox.

I sold my Dejon awhile ago and just purchased the Samco. You take from that what you will. I tried to install the Dejon, but it didn't like the compressor inlet on my turbo.

Yup thats it, make sure you get the bov tube and pick the option where it says you "stock bov location".

Oh i know what you mean now. I had the same problem. The coupler that is provided is too short therefore making it harder to get a tight connection. I simply just replace it with a better silicone coupler 3" to 2.5". To me that is still not a bad deal. Nice looking pipe too. If thats not what you mean I guess the fitment issue comes when you have the stock air box, which in this situation it doesn't matter. The o.p. mentioned he will get a apexi filter.
