Yes, I know. Every EVO owner shifts at 9K rpms and above.

Or maybe its more like about 2-5% of evo owners shift ABOVE 9K (cuz the stock gauge can go to 9K)

yeah, but i don't think it's as accurate as some would like. my tach almost never exactly matches my logger.

Yep, your right, stock tach if off, but by what, like a hundred RPM or something.

it actually depends on the rpm as to how much it's off. i've never logged to 9K so it might be worse up there. mine's off by 100-200 just at idle.

when i read the title i admit i was like oh great another retard that thinks tachs look cool and is needlessly putting one on his evo like its a civic. UNTIL i read why he wanted it and its understandable. Tachs have uses too. not everyone needs them but some people do. and since you think its rice please tell him how to not look rice and still read his revs above 9k since that is what he stated as his reason for wanting one.

Stewart Warner makes some inexpensive boost gauge that goes to 60 psi. You can buy it here: http://www.42draftdesigns.com/produc...wb-114-524.htm
