i just installed the greddy profect e-01. it looks like its ganna be great and all, but i cant get the thing to hold correct boost. its VERY complicated. i heard not to use the auto learning mode from buckschamps2002 , so i tried to set it up on manual mode. it boost LIGHT YEARS faster than stock, but when it hits a certain boost pressure, it dramatically drops to a low boost like at .5 bar. its just opening the waste gate after a certain pressure is achieved. ive been trying to mess with it... but nothing seems to respond. i have it set up on single port actuator for the waste gate(has only one tube coming from the waste gate). but for some reason it keeps droping the boost. any help is wanted... thanks.
A couple things...
1.) You could be hitting your specified boost limit and it cuts the duty cycle drastically to protect your motor.
2.) You can specify a boost threshold that it will hold 100% duty cycle to and then switch over to the set duty number. This improves spool. You may be hitting that boost level with the 100% duty cycle and then it switches over to your set duty cycle number, which may be low and thus it drops down to wastegate pressure.
If you are aiming for 19 psi. Try a set value of 50% duty cycle and have it switch from 100% cycle to the 50% at about 15 psi. If you go too high it will overboost. You may have to work it up a little higher but that will get you in the ballpark. I have my turboback'd EVO at about 56% duty cycle for somewhere around 18~19 psi.
BTW, you can watch the duty cycle it is currently using on the top right portion of the screen on a little bar graph. Call me if you have any other questions.

well, i dont ave a full turbo-back exhaust yet.. just the axle back, and i need to have a set value at 62% to hit about 19.3 psi. we have the piping for the rest of the exhaust, but have yet to install. wil i gain much from the rest of the turboback piping? also will the set % value go down some with the rest of the exhaust added on? btw, i got it working correctly, i had the plug still on the "com" port of the boost controller actuator. when i took it off, it boosted fine. however, some times it boost more than others, ive hit 20 psi once or twice for less than a second. i have the warning set at 20.3 psi. how much would you say is too much to boost at this point? the injectors should be enough for 24-25 psi on the stock bottom end. i just dont know if im pinging or not. let me know.

i put it down inside the tray thingy under the air conditioning controls. looks great, is descrete. my sponsor is molding a piece of carbon fiber to replace the entire tray piece and mold in the screen and 2 gauges. it should look clean. all the other "titanium look" painted panels are going to be replaced with real carbon fiber also. were going for the show/race look.

IIRC, "NO" goes to the comp outlet and "COM" goes to the WG actuator. Contact me if you have questions. The exhaust added shouldn't affect it too much. Just drop it down 5% when you get it on and work the percentage back up to be safe. 24~25 psi isn't enough to decide what your bottom end should hold. At what tune? With what turbo, intake, exhaust, etc.? I wouldn't run 24 psi on pump gas. Ever. 21~22 tops.
