Well a lil back I started a thread on how i was unhappy with the numbers my car produced. A number of you mistook the thread and blasted me for running such a big turbo out of it's efficiency and blah blah blah blah. Well I am about to go on with my upgrade path and port my head either buschur or AMS and get a new set of cams...and of course a meth kit. Now I am looking for suggestions on Cams, head and meth kit. Well thanks in advance.
I was thinking of going buschur head with JUN 272's and a snow performace meth kit.

i would go with the ams head, revolver or jun cams(you could do jun 264 or 272's) maybe a stroker kit or a rebuilt 2.0 depending if you want a good dd and road racer or if you want a drag car. and i dont know meth kits
what turbo do you have?

 

Good choice in head IMHO

Btw what are your supporting mods? I've been told the Jun's hate to idle with a stock Ecu but if you have the AEM it shouldn't matter.

I don't have opinions on a alky kit never personally used one

 

I think I'd skip the head work and meth kit, and go for the 2.3L stroker. Granted.... it's more expensive

 

I have peakboost T04R kit and AEM standalone with your basic turbo back exhaust and supporting mods like that, Anyone have any ideas on whose meth kit to use.

Just make sure it has a failsafe
