I dont care for the noise..I care about if my car is screwed up...Venting 50 wont do anything but cause idleing issues which mine doesn't....Do u know how much psi turbosmart dual bov hold? I just want it to hold it for my need, thats all i am worried about...I listen to to many people...Maybe i should do wut i want...I have a aftermarket warrenty, If my bov doesnt anything horrible to my engine I can swap it out so fast to the stock on in minutes, and then tell the dealer the stock one killed my engine LOL....but I dont want to do that...but hey who cares right? dealer screwed me anyways with the price, why not screw them back Also they charged me a aftermarket warrenty without knowing..how gay is that? $1,500 warrenty, HA!

why did you buy a bov not knowing how much psi it can hold? Also, whats the point of an aftermarket warranty if you have to change back to stock when something happens to your car?!?!Another thing, if you think you got screwed by the dealer in price then why did you take the car in the first place?..haha...
Anways, even though you think your car is running right with the 50/50 its really not. idles issues may seem fine on the car because it sounds good, but a/f could be off..I think you should just put the stock back on or invest in 9 bov or jdm mr bov(both the same)...

Yea. The JDM MR bypass valve should hold 25+psi. And it recirculates, so you dont have to worry about idle issues or your A/F getting screwed up. Either put it on 100% recir. or put the stock one back on and buy the JDM MR bypass valve. Speedelement.com has it for 99 bucks plus shipping. You could have saved yourself 100 bucks or so by doing a little research before hand. Just because it seems like a good deal doesnt mean it is.

You wont... Thats the one thing i miss about my turbo 240sx. The Blitz BOV... Call me a ricer, but i loved the sound of that. Im not gonna do it on the evo. Perforance is more important to me than sounds. Id just go ahead and recir now!

Lp, I am one of the people that has proven the stock BOV leaks at 13psi or so, but that isn't what we're talking about. Just saying it "leaks" doesn't do it justice. It is not very strong, but the stock BOV works perfectly fine on stock boost and no mods. There was no reason for him to get an expensive BOV (everyone justifies getting poor mods by saying they got it "cheap") while venting 50/50.
I have proven it myself as well with testing. At his mod level it isn't hindering performance, but if he decides he wants to upgrade now, WHO CARES. Help him instead of criticising.

* OEM diverter valve
* Forge diverter valve
* My OEM diverter valve modified with internal evac port controlled by 10.5 psi pressure switch and 3 way, 2 position solenoid (used a spare OEM fuel pressure solenoid ). All driving under 10.5 psi boost DV runs same as stock. When boost increases the air under diaghram is vented which is the single reason it leaks, but also the main reason for drivability. Cost was free (donated parts) except for tubing and fittings
~ 1 psi drop caused by other factors (WGA, output)
