The RS has a special turbo that the other JDM versions don't have?

- I don't recommend any JDM IX turbo if it's magnesium, since those have been blowing up.
- The IX is more powerful than the regular TME
- The TME may spool more quickly and have a flatter torque curve
- Or how about a TME IX?

We can't provide a suggestion without knowing what you want.

Just stick with the IX turbo since it is "user friendly". It has been proven to make good power. And for the price, I think it provides the best performance to price ratio.

yeah I'm leaning towards the IX turbo, just wanted to hear everyone's opinion before I buy anything, but I'm curious about the TME IX that warrtalon mentioned

It's just a IX with TME internals - pretty simple. You get it from any turbo shop, I suppose (FP, Blouch, etc.). The IX should be $700 new, as should the TME. $900 is too high.
