normal to hear turbo spin down when turning car off?

normal to hear turbo spin down when turning car off?

when i shut off the car i can hear my 37r spin for like 10sec, is this normal? its dual ball bearing, im pretty sure its normal w/ dbb turbos but just wanted to be sure. thanks

Yup, it's normal. If you blip the throtte right before you shut it off, it'll spin for a few minutes.... I wouldn't advise doing it often though!

yeah, BB turbos spin a while when you shut it off. you can spin my buddies supra's hks bb turbo with your fingers and it spins for a while.

I love hearing mine spin after I turn the car off. I DO NOT blip the throttle, though you just gave me the idea to do so Now I am tempted to try it

No the stock turbo doesn't do that unless you took out the blade and replaced it with ball bearing one...My friend has a GtR 32 with a R 33 Motor in it Garett 37r **** spins for 2mins or so.
