I wanna start a thread that people can compare these 2 cams for the IX. I think both of them are getting pretty descent gains from what i have seen so far, but i just wanna start comparing them. Mainly for people with just exhaust and mbc, what are the cams doing for these guys. Any body wanna chime in....?

GSC for their customer service and great attitude, they are truely great guys there and they are from my home state.

 

which ones are giving more gains....?.....with just basic mods and flash.

 

I think theres already a couple threads about this already. Search for cosworth cams you should find what your looking for. Also check the AMS forum, Eric recently installed the GSC's on his IX. Theres info there as well.

From what I gather, the Cosworth cams would be better on a fully built IX, and the GSC's are great for mildly modded cars. Both of them will make power, but since the IX's cams are very well designed as is, you wont see a ton of increase with mild bolt ons.

 

I haven't seen convincing numbers from either.
