The cars do like RPM, that is not the reason. Maybe Buschur can respond to that. Im pretty sure that Buschur and Curt brown arent shifting their cars at 7500 when they runs 10s.
David said on his 9sec run he shifted at 8k rpm on every gear except 4th where he held it until ~9k to make it through the traps. Curt said he sifts at 8500rpm on the street and 9k at the track. I would agree with you though, a built motor should be able to handle 1k rpms more than the stock redline. Esp. when the stock bottom end can take 7800~8k rpm damn well.

Definately? Theres not even that much of a difference between the 20g and LT so how can you say that so convincingly although your probably right?

Nice comparison to see on the same car with minimal changes, thanks for putting it up.

What is neat is by 3300 the 20G already had 300ft/lbs of torque.

That is pretty fricken amazing. I'd say that is fairly quick spool. Its not peak torque for that snail but its more peak torque than I have now and its earlier.

Is the 35 r running speed density?

Nice comparison-but 1- is flashed and 1 is AEM-
What differance did that make in it's self?

so you're comparing 2 different turbos on 2 different cars with similar mods one with a flash and one on SEM and this is a fair test to show a comparison of?

Damn. Nice job. Super smooth power bands on both. I would put my money on the 20G over the 35R anyday.

not for nuthin but all the guy did was post a dyno chart for people to see 2 different setups on paper...why does it have to be anything more than that?

While we have your attention, Al(or maybe we dont) I was wondering if you could pm me so I could discuss injector phasing with you. I have a stroked 35r on ems and i'm currently tuning the injector advance. I'd be interested to see what kind of data you or buschur may be able to share...

maybe i'm reading too much into it and it's just showing you what a 20g does on a flash and what a gt35r does on stand alone...*shrugs*

you also have to take into consideration that the spool on a dyno is slower and different than the spool when the car is actually driven on the street. Boost will come in quicker on the road.

it's a nice comparison though to show area under the curve, just remember that dyno numbers aren't everything
