All right everyone i will be the @sshole today and tell all the people dishing out the negative comments on whether Al will respond to chill out. If the man posted some numbers that were a little "cloudy" just bare with him and i am sure, just like any other review, when he is done running numbers he will give us more info. My bet though is that this isn't the 20g LT. Also as far as to people wondering , why are we all reacting when someone actually puts numbers up for their product......its because no one else does it and this is the closest thing we have to factual testing and numbers. No one wants to find out they bought a bum part, we all expect to get good product for what we put out. But like i said earlier, chill out and sit tight, Al will be back after the intermission.

My 2 cents. LONG LIVE THE 35r! Put those two cars together on the track, and you will see who comes out ahead. When I had my 30r on I would let cars launch while I rolled out. Guess who would win. If you look at posts I made in the past you would see where I posed questions concerning lag on the 35r. Now that I have one, I wished I would have purchased this amazing piece of work in the first place. I live in the NYC area Anyone who wants a ride in a mildly tune 35r car hit me up. I used to get lag on the stock turbo! Lag is overrated.

it's a nice comparison though to show area under the curve, just remember that dyno numbers aren't everything
No actually this dyno has fully adjustbale load and ramp up and its virtually identical to the road - at least from my testing

Guys - a customer - the guy with the 20G was curious what a Gt35 dyno sheet looked like (he is considering a turbo swap)

So I just pulled up a recent sheet of a GT35 on the same dyno

Both with alchy and pump

And decided it looked "interesting" enough to post

Two sepearte cars - so take it for what its worth

Al

It'd be interesting to see the AEM'd 35R with both cams retarded 2-4 degrees. I wonder how the torque would carry to redline.

What AR on the 35r?

THANKS AL FOR POSTING UP THE INFORMATION!!!! I for one am greatly appreciative for the information you've given us. Thanks!

I agree with WRX Kila, lag is overrated. I'm sorry but I've never been in a race where anything below 5000 rpm matters. I launch higher than that and when I shift the rpm still stays higher than that. If you look at the dyno sheet the 35r kills the 20g at that rpm. Above 5000 is where you NEED the power, not below it.

I have both a 20g streetcar and a 35r streetcar. The 20g car is more fun to drive on a daily basis. You dont pull away from a trafic light at 5000-7000 rpm. You do from 2-6000rpm 99%of the time. No question the 35r is faster in a drag race. Just the lag in a steetcar is not very enjoyable on a daily basis. LAG SUCKS.

Well you have to be half retarded to expect a 35r to be the perfect daily driver.

If you can easily waste most cars on the road you have to deal with a little lag. For what its worth if I plan on racing someone its going to be a ***** to the wall launch. I dont f-around with roll on after roll on especially on the street.

Honestly I never would have considered a 20G as an upgrade but seeing this dyno of it making 300FT/LBS before my stock turbo does I am sort of impressed. I still think a BB 50 trim is the hot ticket.

stock < 50 trim < 35r

But I think I'm gonna keep the stock turbo and add nitrous for when I need a bit more.
