I purchased the ACT HDSS with the Fidanza flywheel for when my stocker finally lets go. After looking at all the posts on which clutch has what issues and costs an arm or a leg or both, I'm pretty sure that for me the answer is the ACT. Be sure to adjust your pedal travel to ensure full disengagement, but other than that, you should be in good shape without a serious loss of funds. My 2 cents.
RPS makes a good street clutch as well. I have been running it for a about a year with no issues, on a resurfaced stock flywheel. Check over at http://injectedperformance.com/Searc...32&TopCatID=12

Exedy makes the stock clutch. Trust the designers of the OE clutch.
Exedy Stage 1 is a great clutch with less pedal effort than the ACT and holds the same amount of power. Plus it can be had for $500 easily. I have installed 3 of these clutches and versus the ACT it is night and day. Exedy is a winner.

WOW, I am sorry that I came off as I did. This was not my attempt.
Actually the stock clutch and spring design is pending a patent as it implements a design that actually holds a lot of drivetrain noise from being heard. More of a non performance aspect but for some it is important. Ths stock clutch is a good clutch as there are many people who don't "holeshot" their car much at all and it will last for a long time. Furthermore the stock clutch is dsigned for the tolerances of the drivetrain so it will help everything last longer. I have installed alot of clutches, Stock, ACT, Clutchmasters, SPEC, and Exedy thus far. The ACT is a good product with a few tradeoffs, I have seen increased drivetrain wear due to more dampening and of course quicker engagement. This is more driver induced though but most think a clutch messes up their drivetrain when really it is the driver and how they used the higher torque setup. Also the lockout that most complained about is a nullissue if the fluid in the transaxle is full AND if it is properly adjusted. Plus removing the restrictor pill will help ALL aftermarket clutches work better.
I am curious in these finer points. I am aware that you have some machine the rivets down and your marcel spring is a bit different although please fill me in. I am a bit of a clutch geek.

LOL. No offense taken. I was feeling a bit ornery I guess. If you know about the patented Exedy WAD design which they started using for noise reduction then you must be a clutch geek. I can PM later with more info on the "finer points".
