Oil Leak issue, Ruff idle

I just had a 35R installed and I have a slight oil leak it is only drippping in a couple places not very much oil... but the oil is mostly comming off the oil pan and the lower tie bar that is right near the pan and DP. There is oil spaltered on my DP and on parts of the cat back. I have noticed that the valve cover doesn't have oil in it on the bottom and I was wondering if it should? The low oil has not come on but the car seems to idle ruff once it is warmed up..... The dipstick says i am between the 2 notches on it but the oil is not very thick on it, it is just a light film between those 2 notches and thicker towards the bottom. I am taking it in tomorrow but I'm affraid I have been driving it around with too little oil in it.... If the oil was low wouldn't the Low Oil light come on?

Best pic I could get of inside the valve cover. Basically you can see the metal on the bottom of the vavle cover.... Shouldn't there be more oil in there?

Under the car. The oil pan has a film of oil all over it.

Oil wont sit in the cover unless it puddles in groves, the oil will drain into the oil pan.

The rough idle probably isn't even related to the oil leak, more likely a vacuum hose thats disconnected. A quick glance at the boost/vac gauge should give you an indication if thats the case.

That oil spray bothers me greatly, it almost looks like its near the oil filter where the two hoses which connect to the oil cooler. Grab a wrench and see if something is loose or nicked/cut down there next to the oil filter. You can actually see the oil cooler in your bottom photo on the top left hand side of the picture and the two lines running to it.

I have a greddy profec B and it is always around -60 to -70 at idle. If I down shift it goes to the max -99.... My AFR cycles from 14's to 16's but mostly is around 14-15... I am taking the car in tomorrow to have it looked at... I was thinking it was the oil return line. Then agin it may be the oil cooler. Also couldn't the "spray" be from driving the car while it was leaking oil. The oil makes it all the way back to my rear o2 sensor.

The oil light comes on at 2 psi - in other words when the oil is gone. Don't depend on it to save your engine.
