for some reason the clamp rubs up against the driveshaft, not sure if its my downpipe(APS) or test pipe (APS).

 

I've heard nothing but good things about this exhaust, nice review!

the exhaust is simply amazing. you really need to see it in person to truly appreciate the detailed welding and polish on this exhaust. truly a work of art.

 

anyone has this exhaust with downpipe and test pipe? i just got my evo and it came with this exhaust which i love im picking up invidia downpipe and test pipe tomorrow and just wana hear some feedback if its gonna be too loud or not ;P

 

if youre going to run a test pipe then its definitely going to be loud.

 

I have heard this exhaust on a few Evos now and it sounds great, nice deep tone to it but not insanely loud.

 

I have mine with a DC Sports 2-1. I rarely hear an evo louder than mine. I love the sound/tone, but it is loud.

 

I have the JUN BL as well. I also have a test pipe and 3 inch DP. LOVE the way it sounds, has tons of turbo sound as well. But that could be from my FP Red. I agree with the beefy sound, as I usually always get commnets on the sound. I put a couple sound clips up. Its not great video as my buddy taking the video isn't the best camera man haha. ok guys so i installed the downpipe and test pipe its slighty louder not that much and i installed ets intercooler eith all the piping and i can definately feel the power difference i likeee and i had no fitment issues

 

Is it me or does it look like the tip of the exhaust in that video sticks out a little ways?

Just adding my personal experience w/ a JunBL exhaust on an 8. Stock turbo, mild bolt on, testpipe. Excellent build quality and fitment, very smooth bends and full 3". Tip fits USDM bumper well w/o burning or sticking too far out. Great value considering the v-bands and the price point.

I'm swapping it out b/c its too loud for me personally. It will get attention accelerating under any load condition and will drone under some load at low rpm (highway cruising). You can find a silent sweet spot as with any exhaust but its a small one and disappears if you need to accelerate at all. Keep in mind this is with an unresonated testpipe and I'm leaning for something more like an RRE Stealth or Fujitsubo. It came on the car so I thought I'd add another user review.

If you're looking for a solidly built, louder 3" exhaust the JunBL could work for you. I would recommend a resonated testpipe thought unless you want/like the attention (open dump users)

 

Whatever happened to these exhausts...??? I only see them for sale on Ebay now a days, and for cheap!
