Will a DSM manifold fit my evo?

I need a manifold with a t3 flange for my evo IX. Can I get one that is for a DSM? The only manifolds I have found for the evo so far are around $600. There has to be a cheaper alternative.

I think DSM manifolds and Evo Manifolds are the same atleast by looking at it. My friend has a IX. They look exactly the same.

Try forceperformance,Extremepsi, roadraceengineering,tu rbochargers and slowboyracing, mostlikely you will find what you are looking for in one of those.

As far is fitting a stock Evo manifold into a DSM and viceversa it wouldn't happen. The exhaust manifolds look identical but they are made differently in the way that the collector is facing one slighty to one side on each case. Flow caractheristics materials etc etc are the same it is just that minor design difference.

You are right, they look the same however they are a bit off.

The Evo has the twin scroll fitment while the DSM has the rounded tube inserted into the main collector.

the megan is $200 and is flanged for a stock turbo not t3 flanged
if i were you i would just save up and get a peakboost or fullrace t3 manifold

Or you could get this for 600--

Point is that you get what you pay for sometimes and I am sure if you looked hard enough there is an XSpower/SSautochrome/Ripoff out there on the end of the world we call Ebay.

yea, but it has a 38mm wastegate flange. I would need bigger than that. I am not risking boost creep

As I stated in my first post.... That is $600!!! Maybe it is just me, but I think that is a lot of money for a mass produced manifold.

Also, I could not find a cheapy on ebay that would fit the evo. Only one that would fit a DSM.

Ya bought a 35k car, quit being a cheap *** with it. This is the why Evo and Dsms get a bad name because people spend the money to buy the car but then try to cut corners and go cheap as much as possible.

Thanks for putting worthless crap in my thread.

Do you want to give me $400? Common, don't get cheap on me! Why do you even own an Evo? Since $400 means nothing to you at all you should get something else.
