rule of thumb, always put on full bolt-ons before you decide to upgrade your turbo...

i'd wait till you have your fmic, put in new cams, maybe run alky, and get retuned.....then decide if you STILL want to upgrade your turbo.

I think he got confused with the picture of the APS Subaru upgrade that is mysteriously on the Evo page. There is Agency Power also so maybe thats where the APS kit came from.

Thanks.
All of the information I have seen says that the 9 compressor wheel is the same as the eight, it's just the housing that is different. That would put max flow at the same level as an 8 turbo, 42 lbs/min.

High spool time is ideal for me. I drive a lot of city, and staying under boost gives me more miles per gallon.

The 20G-LT is similar to 50 trim. The pervious post show that at 30psi peak boost it flow 48.9lb/min. I have a evo 9 with full bolts on and tune making 330whp/310lbs this is on straight 91 octane. I order the 20G-LT with buschur o2 housing and licp. I'll keep you guys update on the process, I'll also have the GSC s1 cams too.

I was also thinking of buying a 20GLT. Now is the EvoGreen IDENTICAL to the 20GLT??? Meth Kit was also in my mind.Which one should be first??My Tuner at "TTP" had suggested to get the Meth, so I'm just basicly trying to get feedbacks on everyones thoughts. Right now I have a 3"Cat, Test Pipe & D.P., 0.2. Housing, W. Fuel Pump, Unos Forge Manual Boost C., Injen Intake & Upper IC. P., Exedy Twin H.D., and a Ecu Flash, and a AMS lower IC Piping in my hands that will be shortly installed. Thanks Everyone

EvoGreen is identical to 20GLT just another name for the same turbo. Go with alky for sure if you want to max out a bigger turbo than stock.

I could be wrong although I thought...

stock 03 9.8 turbo could push somewhere around 35lbs
stock 03 turbo with the 10.5 could push somewhere around 37lbs
stock 06 turbo could push somewhere around 41lbs

I pulled this out of posts so it could be way the heck off.

If what they say is true.... 1LB is about equal to 11HP .....then I suspect those numbers are off. There isn't 40HP difference between the 05 and 06 turbos. But it really doesn't matter because neither are going to flow 49LBS.

Not sure you some of you realize how much power 49LBS is!

It would be interesting to see if a 9 with stock cams could use all the top end airflow that the Green/LT/50 trim could toss at it. Mivec tends to help on the stock snail but is a cam upgrade in order for a 9 with a bigger hair drier?
