So you can get a Greddy Type-S with the 2g Eclipse kit and it will fit perfectly on the EVO8? Are all the connections the same as stock?

Can someone please snap a few pics of their Greddy Type-S On their EVO8? I've already seen the SSQV, and I actually think I am going to go with the Greddy Type-S because I want to recirculate it back to the intake.

Like said earlier, you can recirc the hks, but need to get an extra tube i guess..

As for the type-s.. it goes in the stock location.. (just make sure the base of the BOV is towards the IC piping..

And you should run another line to the wastegate line and T the wastegate line..

Um, i don't have a camera, but will see what i can do about pics.

I've installed two type S greddy BOVs in evos already. The 95-99 eclipse "kit" (BOV and flange adapter) works perfectly. If you already have the type S and need the flange, Greddy doesnt sell it seperately. However, there is a guy on eBay selling homemade flanges that will work fine.

the HKS BOV w/ recirc kit also goes into the stock location and replaces the factory diverter valve right?

Wow, you actually got it to fit with the recirc kit!!! I was trying to get mine in there last night and I couldnt get it to fit. I guess I need to push some stuff over and squeeze it in there. What recirc kit did you use? Evo 7 or eclipse? Generic?

After a two weeks of learning how adjustments affect the car, it works very well. It's a significant improvement over the stock diverter valve. I'm sold on the design and convinced that the two valve system has it all over other BOVs.
