Aren't these the guys who build up engines and keep the balance shafts in the engine. They just machine the shafts down on a lathe?

Not sure what you're referring to, but that's not us. Yes, we use the balance shafts in our stroker engines. We leave them out of our 2.0 builds.

The shafts that we do use are not turned down on a lathe so I don't know where your info is coming from. We use the factory shafts and use a lathe to clearance them for the stroke. We also machine the shafts for proper oil clearance. That's why we don't have problems with our engines eating bearings, seizing shafts or throwing belts. That is part of blueprinting a motor and why most other shops have problems. If you have any questions as to the reliability of our engines or how we build them feel free to call the shop. My name is Tony 410-859-3269.Or I could give you a laundry list of customers with Evo's that have had no problems with running balance shafts and how we prepped them and.

JAM is a quality machine shop that's been specializing in 4g63 since the DSM days. They're not just local to me but have international clients requiring technical work.

I had my head resurfaced there. Great work and their attention to detail was worth noting!

Call and talk to Carmella, she'll treat you straight!

I like the fact you can call them and they answer the phone. On top of that, the person your talking too actually knows what they are talking about and can answer all your questions.

Ive tried talking to some other vendors and #1 they wont answer the phone, #2 the person who does answer cant tell you anything.
