fuel pump question

so i was going to install a fuel pump, but I went and check underneath my seat, and It is making alot of noise, buzzing sounds, dont know how to describe it. but the question is, is this a walbro 255 already, or does the stock fuel pump not make noise.

I never heard the stocker make a noise, but the Walbro definetly is loud with the back seat removed. I never took the seat out with the stocker in, as a matter of fact, so I don't know.

yeah fo sho, it is used, when I got it, it was using boost tube, to connect to the wastegate, and turbo nipple, to the boost solinoid.

I'm going to guess it's a walbro... what did it should like while the car was not taken apart inside could you hear it at all?

I can hear mine most of the time

The most obvious solution is to pull it out and have a look. It will say walbro on it.

Thanks for the link Ak47po... im about to install one within the week and it was a great writeup. and he was right about the clamp... its impossible by hands sometimes, a set needle-nose pliers will do the trick neatly. (worked for the vacuum lines to my DV)
