Engine not idling properly........EVO 7

I've got an EVO 7. I noticed my engine is not idling correctly. I've replaced all 4 spark plugs, drained the fuel on one of the drain plugs, but didnt drain the other drain plug. theres 2 drainplugs. The fuel tank warning light was already on when I drained the tank. I drained about 8 liters. I've noticed the fuel smelled weird. I hardly use the car. Someone told me the fuel is already spoiled? I had 20 liters put in the tank. Took it for a quick spin, its still having that problem. Maybe theres still some old fuel left in the fuel sysytem? since i didnt remove the other drain plug? I had a local mechanic check out the spark plug wires. It was giving out spark. A friend of mine told me it might be the battery? The battery seems to be OK to me. He said it might not be giving out the correct current? Pls help guys, theres no local mechanic here in my area who is familiar w/ evos. I have to have one fly over here. That would be my last resort. Maybe you have suggestions that I can try first. Thanks!
BTW, when I step on the gas, it feel like theres something holding back the car. it wont give it full power.

Where the airflow sensor located? On the airfilter manifold? idle control? I have no idea.

its just idling weird. but my RPM gauge is still steady. Before it sounded like Vrooooooooooom. Now it like vroooom vroooom vrooom. when its on idle. I havent tried to hit full boost coz i was afraid I might damage something. I just tried to step on it but it felt like something was holding it back so I backed off the pedal.
