Question How about a 25G (Greddy T67) and a 2.3L/280's combo?

I am searching down a good turbo set up, something off the beaten path I guess, and was wondering about this setup. It is NOT the huge monster T67 from Garrett, but the smaller then the GT35? turbo, the Greddy 25G. Is anyone running this setup? I am just tossing this out to the evom community for some "guideance". Pros/cons to this setup are...................(thanks)

Okay the main problem with this kit is the craftsmanship of the greddy kit. They manifolds don't last. They are along the same lines of the megans. Almost every kit ive herd of someone having the manifold has cracked.

This turbo is extremely laggy. I think they come with two different exhaust sides a 10cm and a 8cm i think there is a pretty big difference between these. However I'm pretty sure the 35r spools better and makes more power than this turbo.

However this turbo does make damn good power. And the kit is pretty cheap. I know injectedperformance.com can do real good on this kit if you give marty a call.

What kind of horsepower are you looking to produce?

The T67 is a great street/circuit turbo that has been around for a while. Pricewise the Garrett products have it beat by a landslide.

Is this turbo (size wise) between the GT35 and the 50 trim as far as HP and flow? I say HP in the 500 area is plenty. I want to be able to run low 11's in the drags and also road race with it/autox it/Daily drive it. (Which I hear DD and a tubular manifold lead to the cracks) Thanks for the early replies!

I hear the Garrett T67 is HUGE compared to this one, and is close to the GT37's, and was also told this one is smaller then the GT35's. I just wonder why I haven't seen many of these around and mentioned here. I wonder why? No good? too expensive? bad quality? Just want to clear the air on this turbo, and see if it is the "fit" for me.

you will NOT be able to autox this turbo man.

3076R on a 2.3 or 3065 is going to alot better for what you want. on the 2.3

you don't see these mentioned because they are more laggy than a 35r. Don't make as much power. And greddy maniofld is JUNK

I think you would be better off with an FP3065 from Buschur, with your stroker it will spool very nice and make big top end power.

Let me know how it works out!!! With me, the turbo should be my last mod , and I just want to make the right choice. Dont want to find myself saying "Maybe I should have got......................" HUGE CHOICE HERE!
