I’m getting a good deal on a used greddy t67/25g turbo and wanted to get little more info about it. Does anybody know what is the lbs/min for this turbo and what kind of power will i see on pump and c16?

are you buying the complete kit or just the turbo itself?? if youre getting the kit beware as the manifolds are known to crack when pushing them

Ive really only seen this kit perform on an STi and that was only in Best Motoring. The STi was fast, so i could only imagine the Evo would be so, but not sure about reliability.

I ran this kit for about 1 year on my car.
I actually sold it to a guy who had the turbo rebuilt and he is still running it. I liked it for the street. I made 459 HP on 93 & alky with simple bolt ons.

you needed a rebuild only after 1 year on the turbo? what was wrong with it?
Do you think that turbo can make more power then you pushed on it?

It may make more, not sure. Probably with some better cams. I was running HKS 264s.
No, I basically gave it away to him so the extra money he would have spent he just sent it out for a rebuild.

If you're getting the kit, make sure to brace the mani. They are notorious for cracking. The 3 kits I am personally aware of all broke.

BTW - I believe the turbo is 54 ppm or so.

Not sure if you can brace it. Its true, the manifold is real thin and from the flexing of the motor it will crack. I did not have any issues, but I have seen others that have cracked.
I was using an engine dampner, not sure if that made a difference or not for me.

you can brace it ... it would just weld two pieces of metal from the head side flange not to the turbo flange... there has been a couple guys on this forum who have done it... i believe Kuba23 did it and posted pictures (if i remember right it was him if you search around for 25g or t67 you'll find it)

they also say putting in a Flex pipe on your downpipe will help a lot

IF i were to ever run a Greddy turbo kit ... I'd do BOTH ... in the long run it would safe you more money if it stops the header from cracking

And also you need to find out which 25g/T67 it is.... weather it's the 9cm2 or the 10cm2 ... that will change a couple things (spool and top end) MOST likely it's the 10cm2 i havent seen too many of the 9cm2 although i know they are around
