Opinions/suggestions needed(Low WHP problem)

Hi all
Recently, I have done the following to my car
TBE(Injen dp, Megan cat delete, greddy evo2)
Walbro 255
Hallman MBC, set to 21~22psi at 3rd gear
AEM short ram inake(I figure why not, as I was getting it tuned)
Custom tune
then defi gauges(just boost)

The highest the shop ran was 293 whp CORRECTED, 315 UNCORRECTED
I've asked my friends on their take about this and most say it was the tune.
However, I did ask for a modest tune, but not THIS modest.
Many are telling me that TBE with no cat should have made close to 290 to the wheel, without a tune or MBC.
I ran Chevron 92 octane, and at the time of the tune, the tuner said there was alot of knock and he did not feel comfortable pushing too much. So He eliminated knock set AFR tolike 11:6 or so(I goota get my dyno sheet) and left it there.(I believe he didn't do much on timing)

So is it the tune? Or do I have a generally weak motor? I am happy with the car,it runs good, but with money I spent and seeing others with same/less mods pushing higher,SAFER numbers are making me wonder.

I will be changing plugs and doing an oil change soon, and get a boost leak test(To make sure, though I doubt it) and then try again on the dyno. I also have the idea of getting the AEM intake removed to bring it back to stock, to see if that makes any difference.

Please, enlighten/flame/educate me on this matter. All opinions are welcomed
Thank you very much
Ray

EVO IX or VIII? What kind of dyno the numbers will vary depending on the dyno. I made 255 on a DD dyno with similar mods and a tune with a EVO VIII. Thats about 300 to 305 on a dynojet.

Sorry folks, I have 9 SE
Yes isn't it low?
Oh and it is on Dynojet, so I do believe this is a bit too low
I'd be happy with 310-ish on dynojet
Thanks again folks
