Buschur Evol 9 LICP installed
Buschur Evol 9 LICP installed
Just installed the evo 9 specific licp on my mr. The stock licp was a pain in the *** to take off becasue the bolts are hard to reach. I did not take off the bumper just the undertray.
The car feels more responsive under 5000rpm. It definetky feels faster under 5000 but it feels the same above 5000. Also i noticed my rpms do not drop as fast when i push in the clutch to shift, which is kind of better. I am happy with this peice and if you get it make sure you clean inside it very good b/c mine was dirty.

Good review. I wrote a review for the same LICP when they were first launched. The pipe was great but I also found a lot of dirt inside of the pipe as well.

my girlfriend bought me the same LICP as one of my x-mas presents, just installed it a couple days ago but i have not been able to really drive the car yet because it wont stop snowing in this place! great fit...
I've a buschur intake kit with a semi-dirty suction pipe. How did you clean yours cuz my hands are too big to fit all the way in and the dirt inside the pipe is kinda hard to remove, almost stuck to the pipe!

I'd guess the weight of our pipe is as light, maybe lighter than the stock pipe with the large rubber couplings it uses.
The dirt in the tubing. This should never happen as they are suppose to be inspected by atleast 2 guys before they leave. The pipes are cleaned with a water based solvent and have a long flexible brush run through them and then rinsed out with HOT water.
Glad the fitment is excellent and the power is improved. Sorry about the dirt.

I highly doubt any LICP or turbo exit pipe is going to make much of a difference on a stock turbo'd car. Some of them sure are pretty though.
I would love to see a before and after same day same car dyno that shows any kind of gain. You might be a little quicker in the 1/4 mile due to less weight..... in your wallet.

mine seemed a touch heavier than the stocker, but it also felt like a thicker/stronger material. it took me a few minutes to get it to sit just right so that it wouldn't be sticking too low, but once i got it right its a perfect fit, i can have the undertray on there and it doesn't even touch it. now, i just wish the weather would help me out a bit so that i can take the car out for a drive
also mine was pretty clean!
You know all of these parts if designed correctly generally just keep adding to the performance of the car. Doubting that it will work on a stock turbo'd car isn't a reasonable assumption. Hear me out......look at the fastest stock turbo'd EVO's/DSM's. They have the most stuff done to them. It's not like you are going to put a turboback and an airfitler on your EVO, dump in a tank of C16, turn the boost up to 40 psi and run 10.50's. It takes a combination of the right parts all working together, each one adds to the next.
