I just got my Perrin IC and it weights in at 22.7 lbs.

Also, i spoke to the guys at Nisei, and they said that their new Comp intercooler is about 2-3 lbs heavier then their normal street intercooler that they first came out with. So, you might want to add the Nisei comp at about 29 lbs

Full race and injen use this IC. It is a PWR core with evo specific endtanks. Not sure I like the design. The angle of the inlet is too extreme. Very hard u turn to get to the bottom 1/4 of cooler. Should weigh the same 23lbs of the PWR.

Actually you can slap me and call me a ricer I got the ARC #1 for looks. #2 reason was weight. It was the lightest one I could find that would exactly match the opening on the Voltex front end I am running. The stock one just looked completely stupid with that front end.

I have not weighed the ARC unit yet, but I will before the car is put together . . .

Don't really know the size of the ARC. It is a little thicker than stock, about the same height, but about 6" wider. This is the "073W" model which designates it has fewer, thicker tubes and is wider than stock. I got it for $1000 used.

stock--10 lbs.
Buschur Deluxe --20 lbs.
Full-Race (same as PWR and Injen)--20 lbs.

I've wondered the same thing, but I just got a good deal on a FR FMIC and decided to give it a try. Going to install it this weekend.

I thought the FR/PWR unit was worth a try to see if it would aid spool-up (good for autocross) as well as power, due to less pressure loss than stock and, I hope, less pressure loss than the typical bar/plate units. There is also the issue of a tube/fin allowing air through to the radiator better than a super thick bar/plate unit (like the Buschur Race), and coolant temps do play a huge role in power on a stock ECU car in repeated WOT runs since the stock ECU dumps in fuel when the temps are elevated even from a single one gear pull.
