HP does not kill a clutch - thats why they are rated in ft-lbs.

740 ft lbs of torque @ 3500 = 493hp @ 3500 rpm
740 ft lbs of torque @ 7500 = 1057hp @ 7500 rpm

Its still 740 ft lbs of force despite what rpm it occurs at.

Clutches hold torque not horsepower,so the amount of horsepower is irrelevant.

The answer to your question would most likely be 740HP or more

I just installed one of these for a customer. It was their updated version with the hardend center hubs. Man, what a nice piece. Its very hard to re-stab the tranny however. When you use the alignment tool, there is no little hole in the flywheel to center the discs in. So basically you align both discs and move them closest to the center as you can by eye........hope this helps. RRR

The drivability is not that bad. Going up and down ramps for work on it.. that sucks!

Give the clutch about 100-200 miles of pretty mild - medium aggressive driving.

One thing about this clutch is do not be afraid to slip it, i start at about 2800 in 1st and slide my foot off. Gives an almost stock like takeoff for daily driving.

If it gets cold out or just in general starts being a grabby SOB to you. Go launch on it; I am dead serious it works 10x better after a few launches at the track or a good one on the street.

Launching may hurt the clutch life some (nowhere near as bad as stock) but its worth it for the driveability improvement.

Here is where I get flamed... to launch this clutch you really have to wind her up, i launch off the 2 step at 6400 rpm, anything less bogs or slows me down cause i have to slip for so long.

Heck, I agree with you on this one.
