Snapping the axle on our cars is actually common. I snapped my left rear in exactly the same circumstances you did. I had to purchase a used rear diff and a new axle. (Splines are still stuck in my old rear diff)
I have an 03 and I drove the car home at 20mph without any difficulty. I don't know what kind of shenanigans the ECU would pull since you have an ACD.
My instinct would say that you need to replace your driveshaft and diff if needed. Go to www.driveshaftshop.com if you want to buy some beefier axles. I'm going to be doing the same soon.

I'm not knocking the clutch, im thinking about buying it and putting it into my ix.

it did happen with a single disc lol... its not " that could happen" he has the 4 puck single disc....

i didnt realize that was possibly, i figured at his power level it would slip...

You can usually just service the diff and knock out the splined part, although typically it twists the splined section enough to have to pick out little pieces... Have you tried taking apart your old diff? It would be nice to have as a spare.

This is why I'm not planing on going to the 1/4 mile track, only circuit racing. The 1320 is too much stress on an AWD car drivetrain.

I'm working on that. I used a breaker bar and a very large hammer and the splines won't budge. I have the diff out of the case and will look into having it drilled out.
