Exedy Twin or Triple Disc or a Tilton.

Aftermarket turbo manifold is NOT worth it IMO.... You can get more power potencial elsewhere for the money. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Curt Brown went well into the 10's on the stock cast manifold. So ya, A aftermarket manifold isn't a big improvement over stock unless well your upgrading turbos as well... =)

Clutch-Exedy twin or Tilton FTW.

Mani.- Port the stocker if on a budget or, if you're a baller and want looks AND power, Full-Race FTW.

Here's the mani link https://secure.buschurracing.com/cat...products_id=75

As for the clutch, I have the ACT HDSS with prolite flywheel. No lockout and paid 750 for the combo.

If you really want to get a manifold, I would highly recommend the Buschur ported and coated (<------check my avatar). The thing looks great and it has been proven many times.

For the clutch, I would say keep it between an ACT variant or an Exedy. Most run either of those brands with great success. I haven't seen many running clutch master.

The ACT Pro-lite is actually a lighter flywheel. I tried out the prolite in my EVO before but wasn't super happy with it because it chatters a bit more and the revs drop quicker. The Gruppe-S flywheel is very similar to the ACT street flywheel - I'm currently running this with an Exedy ceramic metallic 6-puck (we have a sale!). It's a great setup for any turbo south of a GT30R sized turbo and seems to be holding up to the abuse pretty well.

That said if you're making a lot of power (GT30R+ or stroker) you'd want to consider an Exedy twin or the ATS carbon as these will hold up to more power and abuse. If you want the top of the line, consider the Tilton, but that's usually beyond most people's budget.

Cheers,

Gary

A clutch disk can cause chatter, not a flywheel and typically on puck style discs. In addition you list your flywheel at 10.5 lbs and ACT list theirs at 10.1 lbs, that is not that big of a difference in weight to impact how the RPM's fall when comparing the two.

Yeah to be totally honest I'm not sure why that is, but the Gruppe-S flywheel (I've used it with both the ACT street & Exedy 6-puck) feels more similar to the ACT streetlight (13lbs) than the ACT pro-lite.

I agree with you that the clutch disk can definitely cause chatter.

Gary
