The 3065 has full spool at 4800 rpm. If you were going to run straight pump I would go with the 50 trim. Since your using some type of injection I would definitely go for the bigger turbo. My car is slow on pump gas and 23 psi but when I turn up the boost its a rocket.

I plan to upgrade my turbo pretty soon.
What will get me the most power for my setup?
I have a meth kit so Ill be able to run slightly higher boost, but I do not want to run race gas 24/7 or race gas that often, just sometimes when I go to the track.
So if I plan to run pump almost 24/7, what would be the best turbo upgrade/best power efficiency for pump gas.
Basically iam guessing its narrowed down between the FP3065 and 50 Trim? Is the amount of boost iam gonna be running (24-26MAX), under the power efficiency for the 30/35r?

So incase i rambled, I want to what will be the best turbo upgrade for me, while iam running pump with meth. What will get me the most HP #s. What are some of the hp #s (or trap speeds) i can be expecting with the turbo you recommend.
thanks.
37R i made good number on straight pump and crazy numbers on alk.

Couple things. A quicker spooling turbo is almost always going to tell the butt dyno that the car is faster than a larger laggy turbo.

We are waiting on turbine housings to be machined for our 50 trim kits, it is really holding us up. All of our BB turbo kits are $2995. I am hoping I can make the 50trim kit price a little bit cheaper than that by fitting the stock engine fan in the car and using a 38 mm Tial gate rather than the much more expensive 44 mm tial.

Even if I can knock $200 off the price of the kit a BB 50 trim kit for $2795 will be exception I think.

Also, the turbo I mentioned in another thread, the new GT35R, is NOT a gt3582, caymanevo said that he is in incorrect. The turbo that WAS on the car was a GT3582.

Also, Jarrod, who will admit isn't the greatest driver, has run 131 mph already with his full weight EVO on 18" standard street tires with his 3065 turbo kit. His car made 505 whp at 30 psi on OUR dyno. Car is very strong.

yeap, but as the thread started you need more than pump gass to made those numbers with those turbos, I think the best turbo working with pump gass and no alky will be the 50 trim.

So are you stating that if I were to have Alky + 91 Pump, to run a 3065?
Was the other person correct, do you hit full boost at 4800?
Also I dont want it to be like a 35r on pump. I dont want to have great power showing through at 100+ mph. Will this be the case with my pump+alky for the 3065?

good information I appreciate that...what are your mods?

sorry for the hijack we can move this to PM if it's bothering people but I figured others are wondering how the 20G LT compares to the 50trim and FP3065

It seems like the majority is pretty much 50 trim FTW on pump. I don't have an EVO but I had years and years with DSM's and for pump (with or without meth) I think 50-trim or Green is the way to go. Ive had both on various 4G63's with propane (somewhat closer to meth/alky) and anyone here with DSM background or 50trims on their EVO's know 400whp is easily done with ~25psi tuned and supported well (even on DYnoCOmps dynamics).
