Best turbo for pump gas? 50trim or FP3065?

Edit:
To make my question even easier. I plan to run pump/alky. Which is my best setup? the 50trim or FP3065? FP3065 will obviously shine once race gas is thrown in, but how does it compare to the 50trim on pump/alky? What does it spool/peak tq at? HP/trap #s on pump/alky vs 50trim pump/alky too.

I plan to upgrade my turbo pretty soon.
What will get me the most power for my setup?
I have a meth kit so Ill be able to run slightly higher boost, but I do not want to run race gas 24/7 or race gas that often, just sometimes when I go to the track.
So if I plan to run pump almost 24/7, what would be the best turbo upgrade/best power efficiency for pump gas.
Basically iam guessing its narrowed down between the FP3065 and 50 Trim? Is the amount of boost iam gonna be running (24-26MAX), under the power efficiency for the 30/35r?

So incase i rambled, I want to what will be the best turbo upgrade for me, while iam running pump with meth. What will get me the most HP #s. What are some of the hp #s (or trap speeds) i can be expecting with the turbo you recommend.
thanks.

A lil more in depth detail would be helpful. Why do you recommend the FP3065 over the 50 Trim. What are the advantages? Does it spool faster? Does it make more power per boost lvl compared to the 50 trim? Can I get more power out of it on Pump gas vs the 50 Trim on pump gas.

Whyyyyyyyyy?

The price of th Buschur Racing 3065 kit is less than some of the higher priced 50-Trim kits on the market. I would do the 3065 just because if you should ever decide to turn up the wick above 25#, then the 3065´s bigger, colder-blowing compressor will move a lot more air than any 50-Trim.

I´m not sure, but to extract optimal power from the 3065, you may need a standalone however. On straight pump, and below 25#, the 50-Trim might seem better on a daily driver. But, on pump plus meth and above 25# it should be no contest(3065 ).

I have driven cars with both. A BR 3065 and a AMS 50 trim. I do not know what the dyno's say the difference is but the feel of the AMS 50 trim was much better. Both cars had all the supporting mods and were well tuned. I was simply blown away by the power delivery of the 50 trim, not so with the 3065. The guy with the 3065 is a very good driver and could not break 12.2 with the car. Do not remember the traps. It is possible the car may have had a problem, but he was never able to find one and he knows what to look for. Just my personal experience, get some more opinions and go from there.

Interesting. I do not see why an upgraded turbo evo would not be able to break 12.2.. Thats obviously A) Driver error (you said he was a good driver, even with a horrible one, with a upgraded turbo, you should break 12.2) or B) There was something majorly wrong with the car, iam gonna go with B.

But to be honest, the Butt dyno does not tell you that much. Its all how it could of been tuned. Ive had my car tuned where it felt very fast, but only trapped 109. Then retuned it, and felt actually much slower, not as much kick, and it trapped 110, 111.

But thanks for your input. If you could get exact dyno/trap speeds on both of those cars for me, id really appreciate it.

Only 1 car has been to the track yet. The one with the the 3065 was tuned by Dynoflash and made good power, but it just did not feel as crisp or responsive as the 50 trim.

I would say you should set a goal for yourself before picking a good turbo. What is the highest rating gas in AZ? Is it like california?

What you mean is it like California? Is there only 91 and 93, and obviously East coast has 93, and West coast got stuck with ****ty 91. Iam pretty sure theres no other stations in AZ that has anything higher then 91, besides race gas.

LOL damn so you stuck with me then. 400whp is going to be very hard to do on a 91 octane. But you can get close to 400whp with a 50 trim on straight 91. Goodluck, let us know how your project go.

Well I have Meth, so I should be able to run 24-25psi. Which should be well over 450whp.

nice! yeah meth is going to help you out alot. Are you running 100% meth? I been looking into meth also but cant find any site that sell 100% meth. You got any idea where I can buy them or know any local stores that actually carry them?

thanx!
