Those were 2 totally different kits. One with a a dual ball bearing Garret turbo and the other with a Borg Warner(2K kit) unit of some sort that wasnt ball baering. It was a 50 trim but a 58lb/min turbo thats not like the 49lb/min garret turbos. David Buschur said he didnt like the loss of torque with the new kit for the power it made. He also tried a DSM Red turbo in a kit(lower price) and didnt like its results either. If u do some searching u can find all the threads Im talking about.

I think a real 50trim is all the same IMHO

You should consider Turbotrix 50trim Turbokit as well.

Dual Ball Bearing AGP 50trim Turbo
.63 Garret Exhaust Housing
TT Manifold (Which is a piece of art)
Fan, lines, fittings, downpipe, O2 housing, Lower IC pipe

Give them a call, Im sure they will give you a kick *** price.

I cannot tell you how the BB50 trim compares to the new Green, haven't done a test yet.

I appreciate the feedback from everyone so far. It seems as though the Evo 9 LT is putting down some impressive numbers although I haven't seen any numbers from an Evo 9 upgrading from a stock turbo to the 20G LT. There does seem to be a general feeling that the 50 trim is a superior turbo in many regards. I am thinking the difference is right around 30 hp to the wheels on pump-more if they are both using meth.

What I am looking for is what I think many people are looking for: a turbo that will spool quickly, hold power to redline and do it all on pump. I understand this is asking a lot. The idea of great top end power and quick spool are at odds with each other, however it seems technology today is making this a reality. It appears the 50 trim spools just a bit later than stock, yet has 500 hp potential on race gas -> 400+ on pump. The 20g Lt I am thinking will bridge the gap between the stock 9 and the 50 trim. I can't wait to see more results.

If I go w/ the AMS 50 trim I am detting their intercooler, GSC S1 cams, Injectors, and whatever else they recommend. I want a turbo that will dominate. I hate loosing to supercharged AMG Mercedes from a roll on the highway!

How about loosing to another turbocharged 4 door?

Besides there is always going to be someone faster, what happends when you get all the upgrades and you run into a SLR Maclaren 772 on the highway!? You'll be getting spank by a supercharged benz once again!!

LOL, just giving you a hard time

fp evo green 21psi 93 pump gas 400awhp/362awtq numbers are right around 50 trim numbers for most people plus spool is almost stock and the car has more in it.

Was that on a FP turbo or a GT series?
