NO way! I was the only FP green evo 9 that was tune at Tuning Technologies. Unless it was someone else that got the same set up? Who did you hear this from?

I think he meant Turbo Trix, not Tuning Technologies. (noticed where his location at)

But ya, Tuning Technologies is a good shop, I took my car there before

What are your priorities? Do you just want to not get beat by an SC Merc(hang with him), or do you want to beat him? I don't think that either turbo'll move enough air to walk away from a supercharged V8, or the new AMG 63, from a roll. I would probably start with a 35R, if I wanted to be picking fights with SC V8's. Otherwise you'll spend about the same amount of money but you won't accomplish your goals. Oh yeah, I'd look into AMS's 2.3 stroker and Alky kits too.

However, limited to your 2 turbo choices and pump gas, I would opt for a 50-trim kit and I'd throw in Alky as well. The 50-Trims are real beasts on pump plus Alky.

I was pump on this same argument a month ago and I would personally go with a 50trim kit. It has more hp to the turbo. The 50trim and the FP Green spool pretty close to eachother and it falls to the 50trim everytime in the hp race. On pump gas and espescially on race gas or meth. The desicsion shouldnt be that hard. I went with the AMS 50trim kit and I should be getting it next week. AMS has a group buy with there turbo kits with only 3 spots to fill. $500 off.

Just a quick thought, the FP does flow 49lb/min and 50 trim flow 50lb/min. The horsepower should be very close on race gas or meth.

I went with the Green and love it. I think you will need to run meth to get the power you want out of it. That's what I did. Also if you were just looking at it, it looks compleatly stock, and easy to bolt on.

Not so, look at the Exhaust Housing on the FP Green, it is great for stock spoolup and bolts on to the stock Manifold but once some huge volumes of exhaust gasses begin to Flow, the AMS 50Trim will in fact pull away, Larger hot side, no longer twin Scroll, more efficient manifold and it is now equal length, larger 02 outlet. With this of course is more lag so the FP Green will have more immediate throttle response.

THE 50 TRIM. Come on here guys. To get 450 whp on the FP Green you need all the bolt ons plus race gas. Race engine AEM EMS ex.............. 50 trim will win in every category hands down!!!!!!!!! Its not that hard to make the descision in turbos. If you have the money go with the 50 trim..............................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
