If you don't know, then you should not have a 20g. Please learn to search, learn to do research before purchasing mods (asking people to spoonfeed you the answer is not considered research), and stop making multiple threads asking the same questions.

Jeezus Warrtalon, what are you the EvoM police? And you wonder why I have a beef with your attitude....

Evoboy, the SAFC-II, while a great tuning tool is very limited in it's abilities. It can't control ignition timing. A good flash will be leaps and bounds over a an SAFC.

The SAFC-II is not a 'great' tuning tool by any means - no idea why you said that. It's serviceable at best. I already explained this to him in his first thread, but he made another thread anyway - very annoying.

Agreed, there are much better devices out there that are cheaper. Getting something like ECUflash would be far more beneficial.

Hmm...not a great tuning tool....that's why DSM's have used it for years...and why AMS themselves have gotten monster power from an SRT-4 with upgraded turbo and tuned with an AFC?

Be more specific with your responses.

THere's nothing wrong with an afc on a fairly stock evo such as yours. THey work great, however they are somewhat limited in the amount of tuning it can do. If you have any ambitions of going bigger, your going to need some other form of engine management.

Seeing as how you live in Illinois, I'd have the boys at AMS hook you up if I were you.

Excuse me noob but I read the "****" properly and I know what I am talking about. As for your comment about a competent car, you have little or no common sense in it's ability. I never, nor did anyone else in this thread, said I had an SRT-4. Now kindly take your woobie and go back to sleep.

There are a few people on here that have done that. Our 8 went 11.5x @ 119mph on the stock turbo, clutch and ecu with an safc.
