boost gague busted or need to turn the boost down?

boost gague busted or need to turn the boost down?

ok when i WOT my boost jumps to 23-24 pounds peak then goes stragiht to about 20.5 21 where it should be and holds it there with small taper to redline.


is my gauge just bounching to 23-24 pounds or am i really hitting 23-24 pounds psi?

i have a defi boost gauge.

I believe your hitting 23-24 psi for bout a second, boost spike all evos do it..

totally off topic, im about to buy the glowshift gauges, boost a/f .. does n body have those?, i know theyre kinda cheapy .. thats why im hesitating .. so please help a brother out

I see you're in NY.
In cold weather, the boost will spike a bit higher due to the colder air (our cars love cold air).
If it's a spike, I wouldnt worry about it too much.
I run 22lbs daily but I've seen some spikes as high as almost 24 lbs recently due to extremely cold weather.

It's not a biggy man.
