Angry Spark plug cover cracks

I noticed today my new EVO has two cracks from both attachment holes on the driver's side of the spark plug cover. I wonder if that would be covered under warranty? This car has only 1,200 miles on it. Looks like someone overtorqued the screws.

that would cause it to crack
you could try and get in warranted , but your best bet is to buy an aftermarket one

I had the same thing happen. New one from the dealer was right around $40.

Wow, no mods im assuming, because the increased exhaust velocity caused by a catback system would probibly cause a pressure drop in the engine bay, due to more air being drawn in through the stock intake box, consequently causing the cover to bow out and crack.
